FUSION
Mixing a blend of R&B, classic Motown, Rock, and some Top 40, this band will be sure to satisfy the most discerning guests, and the most diverse audiences. With decades of combined experience in the band, you can be sure you are getting a reliable product. Justin Bacchus and Julia Dunk front as the two vocalists, with piano, guitar, bass and drums as their band. Justin, with his roots in soul and Motown, contrasts against Julia's hard-edged rock and top 40 voice, making for a great chemistry on stage that is sure to be enjoyed.
Julia Dunk – Vocalist, Pop/R&B
Julia was training to be a hair stylist when she was offered a role in The Second
City 's production of "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" and she gladly turned in her
scissors for the big stage! Since then Julia has ventured into many directions,
such as stand up comedy, radio commercials, television commercials, and a
presentation of "The Big Bad Wolf..." presented by The Second City's Children's
Theatre. This beauty school drop out is also a singer songwriter who can be seen
performing regularly around the Greater Toronto Area.
Justin Bacchus – Vocalist, Pop/R&B
Bringing versatility, style and soul to each performance, Justin Bacchus
captivates audiences wherever he goes. A Toronto native, Bacchus has been
singing locally as well as touring the country, professionally, for seven years.
Beginning in church at the age of thirteen, Justin has developed singing into a
full time career. He sang as a soloist with ‘The Nathaniel Dett Chorale’ for four
years and has performed with Joe Sealy and was a soloist for Toronto’s “Expect
the World” Olympic Bid campaign. Each performance contributed to the
development of his extensive performance resume. Currently Justin fronts the
Toronto-based funk, soul, and R&B band, “The Sauce”.

IZM
In the heart of the white south, where colour is a barrier, genre is cultish, and bands are clearly defined, a group of young black musicians calling themselves “IZM” have sparked a fire. Blazing an electric musical trail that billows smoke-coloured in Blues/Jazz grays, electric Rock reds, and Rhythm and Soul black the four member “Afro Rock” band, consumes barriers, mix melted genres, and ascend “the defined”. All from the heart of the South Eastern United States, where the roots of rock-n-roll, blues, jazz and R & B are ingrained in the culture. Some of their inspirations are Earth, Wind & Fire, The Dave Matthews Band, Jimi Henrix, Prince and Buddy Cox. With the band’s 2004 Summer Self Release of their album “IZM YO EYES” (6,000= sold) and “IZM YO EYES” t-shirts (3,000= sold), their venue roster has only come to be rivalled by their burgeoning cross gender, age, and race fan base...
