Anna Torontow - Vocalist, Jazz

Anna studied at Ottawa Carlton Conservatory of Music. She currently trains privately with Toront-based opera singer Charlene Donovan. Working with the Dave Orrett band, she recorded two full-length albums and toured frequently around Canada. She has also been featured at the infamous Hugh's room on a regular basis. Since leaving the band she's built contacts as a solo jazz vocalist. Born in Ottawa, she moved to Toronto at nineteen after a year long stay in Santa Cruz, California.

Gareth Lewis – Saxophone, Jazz
After co-leading an up and coming R & B group The Sauce, for much of 2001, Gareth took a hiatus from his native Brampton ON and left to work and travel abroad. Gareth toured northeastern U.S. and Central Canada, the Caribbean, Baja California, and much of Europe.

Gareth Liam Lewis began his formal musical training at age 7 studying classical piano. He switched to alto sax in high school and was exposed to jazz and rock music. Gareth graduated from Humber College with a B.Mus in Jazz Performance. Since then, he has booked 4 solid years with Garden Brothers Circus, Carnival Cruise Lines, and as an independent free-lance artist.

The rich laughter that punctuates Diane White's speech at regular intervals conveys a great deal about her personality: she is exuberant, passionate and sensual. Diane loves life and the arts; nowhere is that love better expressed than her music, which she has been performing since the age of three.

Diane was fortunate to be born into a family who valued the discipline and intellectual stimulation provided by studying the arts. The white enrolled their daughter in Russian Ballet and piano, providing her the strong foundation that underlies her considerable talent as a jazz vocalist and musician.

Diane begun her musical journey as an instrumentalist, developing a strong attachment to the growling sound of trombone; it took a persistence of a music teacher to push the dedicated brass musician into joining her high school vocal jazz enssemble. Diane soon found that her extroverted personality was well-suited to vocal jazz performance, and a new-found love for the genius of Horace Silver spurred on to curve out her own niche as a vocalist...

This Dynamic group consists of three highly talented and experienced musicians who have worked tightly together for the past two years playing at some of the biggest clubs in Asia, including “Spazzo ” at the Grand Hyatt Bankok , “Ziga Zaga ” at the Grand Hyatt Taipei, “Brix” at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, “Zinc” at the Crowne Plaza Dubai, and , “The Embassy” at The Mandarin Oriental Macau.

Besides having worked in various high profile engagements all over the world, these three Canadians, Samantha Chemerika - Lead Vocals, Stephane Lariviere - Guitar and Paulo Valliancourt - Piano, each bring their own personal style, versatility, and experience to the table.

Trevor won a place to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston , USA , with endorsement, studying composition and arranging, his time here proved to be a very valuable experience, being in such a highly stimulating environment working with some the school's finest musicians. Watkis also had the opportunity to visit New York , the jazz capital of the world, for the first time.

Watkis has since performed with prominent international jazz artists, some who are sadly no longer with us, they include Gary Bartz, Betty Carter, Billy Higgins, Eddie Henderson, Stanley Turrentine, Ernest Ranglin, Kenny Garrett, Clifford Jarvis and most recently the legendary saxophonist James Spaulding He has also featured with R&B artists Jocelyn Brown and Ray Gaskins. In 1997, Trevor made his first formal appearance on the New York jazz scene working with drummer Wynard Harper's quintet.

Trevor has made appearances on major television and radio networks, as well as working in theatre, touring Europe in 1998 with a production entitled "Dancing and singing the Blues", where along with playing the piano he was responsible for some of the musical arrangements.
